The new Portofino line by Smeg was presented at the latest edition of KBIS, Kitchen and Bathroom Industry Show held in Orlando from 10 to 12 January. The Italian company brought to the famous fair the usual sophisticated design mixed with the technological innovation. Portofino cookers are inspired by the colors of the famous Ligurian town: green, Italian red, yellow, orange, anthracite grey, black and white are the nuances chosen by the Emilian brand for these products that feature many other interesting characteristics. They have ovens with 126 litre, Isothermic Proof maxi-cavity. This new and exclusive oven cavity, with rounded corners and smooth, uniform walls, offers a strong insulation and therefore a great energy performance on the market, class A+ rated, with a large oven and a reduction of up to 50% in preheating times compared to a traditional oven. In addition, the Portofino range is equipped with three fans with upgraded motors which increase and refine cooking performance. This makes the temperature uniform throughout the entire cavity, allowing the user to cook evenly on all three levels, like with professional equipment. A large and intuitive LCD display supports the user in obtaining the highest levels of performance by allowing to precisely monitor all parameters set. The display also provides access to 20 automatic cooking programs. Finally, the oven door has a Soft Close function which closes the door softly, silently and automatically.
