Senate President Bukola Saraki on Wednesday met with some leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Saraki, who recently declared to run for presidency under the PDP, disclosed this in a post on his Twitter page.
The Senate President said he met with the northern leaders to discuss his presidential ambition and what Nigeria needed.
Saraki tweeeted: “Today, I met with North Central PDP leaders to brief them about my intention to seek the Office of President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
“I let them know that our nation needs a unifier who can Grow Nigeria and galvanise our collective energy to achieve development.”
